On Wednesday, August 22nd 2018, Superior Graphite received a visit from United States Secretary of Labor, Alexander Acosta and Administrator of the Small Business Adminstration, Linda McMahon. The visit lasted roughly 2 hours and consisted of a safety presentation, a tour of our plant (located at 6540 S Laramie Avenue in Bedford Park, IL 60638), and a round table discussion.

Superior Graphite Co. has come to an agreement with Entegris, Inc. regarding their small diameter graphite electrode factory in Russellville, Arkansas. Poco Graphite, a wholly owned subsidiary of Entegris, will operate the facility with the current work force.
